Nautical Mod

 This post will be a little short and simple because I am currently in the process of moving!!! I'm super excited, I love a change of scenery and a chance to do something else I love (interior decorating). 

I got these earring at an antique shop up in Mentone a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to use them. So I threw on one of my favorite outfits and made a little vintage setup with stuff I have yet to pack and TA-DA!

On top of the world

This is my favorite spot in all of Alabama, a little gem that makes this state so beautiful. This was my first time ever going "rock climbing"(if you can call it that?). Are you ready to climb to the top with me?

Gardening gloves

Nothing beats a vacation, nothing beats a vacation..to Mentone. Here, let me explain..Mentone is a different kind of get away, it's not a luxury vacation where I go shopping and spend lots of money. Imagine having no computer, no cell phone and the only way to send a text message is to get in your car and drive to somewhere with cell service. I go here to escape to collect my thoughts and relax with just the Earth, just the warm sun on my back and the wind through my hair. The time to do nothing...the time to do everything. No makeup, no fashion, only time for peace and spending time with my loved ones...what more could we need?

Look-a-like

Tonights post is all about celebrity look-a-likes "doppelganger". I've been told ever since I got my glasses that I look so much like Zooey Deschanel. One time a drunk guy mistook me for her in a bar and was freaking out and asking me all kinds of questions (I was playing along!). I was inspired by this and did my best to recreate a "Zooey" look.

The Rain

 April showers bring May flowers..we've all heard it but none of us accept it. During spring I only want  the sun to shine and the breeze to cool my skin. Unfortunately Alabama has had a raining spell, this is normal and a lot better from the April 2011 tornado outbreak that killed around 238 people in my state alone. Let us keep our fingers crossed and hope that doesn't happen again.

Other then that life is normal, working, being lazy, and of course spending the money I don't have on clothing and hats! (I'm obsessed with hats because no one wears them here and it sets me apart..which isn't hard.) Also, I would like to thank all the nice people who have been commenting and follow me, I cannot tell you how much this means to me and how much I appreciate it.

Spring return

So far this month has been a little off, I guess not being able to leave my house or see sunlight for a week is the reason why. Alas, I am back on my feet and in tip-top shape.

The flowers here are so bright, colorful, and fragrant. I couldn't wait to get out here and finally get some outdoor photos up..maybe I'll even get a tan this year! We all know that's not going to happen.
